A decade ago, Picture Cross burst onto the scene under the moniker World’s Biggest Picture Cross, aspiring to be the definitive nonogram app for mobile users. Now, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary, Picture Cross boasts over 10,000 puzzles and introduces new modes and additional puzzles to keep the excitement alive.

Play the Game if You Haven’t Already

Picture Cross offers a vast array of puzzles, varying in grid sizes and ranging in difficulty from Easy to Expert. The gameplay remains faithful to the classic nonogram format, where you use numerical clues to fill in the correct squares, gradually unveiling stunning pixel art images.

The images you unlock are part of themed packs and hidden poster scenes. With over 60 themed puzzle packs, you can dive into Motorsport for 100 high-octane puzzles, or explore the cosmos with Moonshot, a space-themed set of 100 challenges.

For fans of nostalgia, Mini Golf provides a trip down memory lane, while Rockstar caters to music enthusiasts. Sci-Fi Celebration is perfect for those fascinated by aliens and warp drives. You can also tackle Mythical Monsters, delve into Fairy Tales, or unearth ancient mysteries in Archaeology.

For a more grounded experience, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each offering a fresh scene to discover. Pirates! delivers a thrilling shipload of puzzles. If you've conquered everything, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross offers a remixed collection to keep the challenge ongoing.

Celebrate Picture Cross 10th Anniversary with New Routes and Modes

To mark its 10th anniversary, Picture Cross introduces a Map View to help you strategize your puzzle-solving journey. A new Tournament Mode is now available for competitive puzzlers. Additionally, you'll find a handy playing guide for solving strategies, with both classic and multi-color puzzles included across all modes.

Pete Williamson, CEO of puzzling.com, the creators of the game, expressed his delight in reaching this milestone. He extended a heartfelt thank you to the fans and hinted at more updates planned for 2025 and beyond. You can explore Picture Cross on the Google Play Store.
