Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo is also planned for iOS and Android later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This intriguing title draws inspiration from co-op puzzlers like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Players take on the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, working together across separate locations to solve puzzles by communicating clues.
Featuring over 80 unique puzzles, an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, Parallel Experiment promises an engaging experience. The game even includes fun features like the ability to playfully annoy your partner by knocking on windows or poking them.
Unraveling the Mystery!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, adding a unique dimension to the gameplay. While desktop co-op is easily facilitated through platforms like Discord, the mobile version opens up new opportunities for creative communication and distraction tactics – or simply playing on two devices simultaneously.
Although the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to ensure a polished and enjoyable mobile experience.
