Invincible Season 3: Major New Characters Revealed

Author: Daniel Oct 17,2025

As Invincible Season 3 nears its premiere, Prime Video has unveiled exciting new voice cast additions including Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu voicing Multi-Paul, Dupli-Kate's brother. The most intriguing casting choices remain shrouded in mystery - Breaking Bad's Jonathan Banks and Hellraiser's Doug Bradley are joining but their characters haven't been revealed.

This secrecy likely means Prime Video is protecting major Season 3 plot developments. The biggest questions revolve around which roles Banks and Bradley might play, along with the rapid aging of Christian Convery's Oliver. Why is this hybrid character maturing so quickly, and what does it mean for Invincible suddenly having a young sidekick? Here's our breakdown of the most significant new characters expected this season.

Warning: Contains mild spoilers from the Invincible comics!

Jonathan Banks as Conquest

While Prime Video hasn't confirmed Jonathan Banks' role, the Breaking Bad veteran seems born to play Conquest, the brutal Viltrumite warrior who first appeared in Invincible #61. Like Omni-Man and Invincible, Conquest comes from the Viltrumite race - except he's arguably the most battle-hardened of them all, covered in scars from countless victories.

Conquest arrives on Earth after a devastating conflict, presenting Invincible with an ultimatum: conquer Earth for the Viltrumite Empire or die trying to stop him. This sets up the most violent battle of Mark Grayson's life so far. Season 2's finale perfectly set the stage for this confrontation, showing Mark reluctantly accepting his father's role as Earth's would-be conqueror.

Mark remains outmatched against veteran Viltrumite fighters, as previous seasons demonstrated. Yet against Conquest, he'll need to punch above his weight class - the alternative being Earth's enslavement and his own death.

Who Is Doug Bradley Playing in Invincible Season 3?

While Banks seems destined for Conquest, Hellraiser's Doug Bradley remains more mysterious. Two comic book villains seem likely candidates given the show's current timeline.

The first possibility is Dinosaurus, who debuted in Invincible #68. Unlike typical villains, Dinosaurus wants to heal Earth from humanity's ecological damage - even if that means destroying cities like Las Vegas. Despite his odd appearance, he's a philosophically complex antagonist whose ideals even resonate with Invincible.

The second option is Grand Regent Thragg, the Viltrumite Empire's ruler and the saga's ultimate villain. Thragg (first appearing in Invincible #11) is an ancient, supremely skilled warrior who led the Viltrumites through their brutal civil war. While we haven't seen him yet in the show, Season 3 might properly introduce this ultimate threat.

Bradley's commanding voice could bring either villain to life spectacularly. While Thragg may only receive limited screen time this season, the show might plant seeds for his future importance as Mark's final and greatest adversary.

Christian Convery's Oliver Grayson

Season 2 introduced Oliver, Mark's half-Thraxan, half-Viltrumite brother who ages at a remarkable rate. What appeared as a toddler last season has now become a preteen, requiring Christian Convery to take over the role.

Oliver's hybrid nature gives him early access to powers that took Mark years to develop. Now calling himself Kid Omni-Man, he'll become both an enthusiastic sidekick and a major concern for his older brother. Mark already struggles with keeping loved ones safe - now he must mentor a superpowered child while figuring out his own heroic path.
