Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has unveiled a treasure trove of new features, challenges, weapons, and monsters that await players in this upcoming season.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the official launch, players can look forward to a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th, making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. As Season 5 kicks off, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the fray, adding to the excitement and variety of the game.
Weapons are in for some balance tweaks, designed to enhance the viability and enjoyment of every weapon type. The Sword & Shield is getting a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with stronger performance, resulting in more satisfying combos. Additionally, the Guard skill is receiving a much-needed boost. Previously, levelling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will effectively reduce damage taken when blocking. More detailed tweaks will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
If your inventory feels perpetually packed, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 brings relief with the introduction of an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This expansion will provide an additional 250 slots, giving you more room to store your gear and items.
Moreover, as part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will allow players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for a variety of rewards. Expect to see items such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards available for trade.
Get ready for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and preparing for an enhanced hunting experience.
