It feels like ages since I first tried the demo for Is This Seat Taken?, and a full two months have passed since the release window was announced. The wait is finally over as developer Poti Poti Studio has launched this cozy puzzle game, which means I can now fully indulge in my mission to please every person in the room on my journey to become an actor.

While that doesn't exactly mirror my real-life aspirations, it is the goal of the protagonist, Nat, who has a charming rhombus shape. It's up to you and me to help them achieve their dream.

There's one small challenge, however: on the path to stardom, you'll meet a cast of quirky characters, each with their own unique tastes and pet peeves. Your task is to play matchmaker and ensure everyone is seated exactly where they want to be.

Whether it's placing someone with an enormous hat in the back row of a cinema or making sure the person who skipped showering for a week stays far away from a sensitive Karen on the bus, you'll need to meet everyone's needs at your own pace.

There are no leaderboards or timers here, so with its charming art style and heartwarming narrative, I'd say it's sure to be a relaxing and cozy experience.
