Even a brief look at the awe-inspiring prowess of one of Elden Ring's most renowned players, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to make even the mightiest Tarnished feel humbled. However, this legend faced a significant challenge with one of FromSoftware's most notorious adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame within the Elden Ring community in April 2022, when he donned a loincloth and jar-head to become a messiah figure, assisting numerous players in defeating the game's toughest optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has since logged over 1,200 hours and battled Malenia thousands of times. His dedication has cemented his status as a legend in the Elden Ring community, earning him the honor of receiving an actual sword from FromSoftware in recognition of his efforts.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared that he finally succumbed to the allure of a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which also allowed him to dive into the beloved Bloodborne. Despite his extensive experience with FromSoftware titles, he encountered difficulties with some of Bloodborne's most challenging boss encounters.
After adjusting to the game's lower frame rate—Elden Ring runs at 60 fps while Bloodborne is capped at 30 fps—along with the game's intense atmosphere and the initial defeat by the clinic werewolf (a common rite of passage), Let Me Solo Her documented his entire Bloodborne journey, including the DLC.
"Finally, I met the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features that one final boss that feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We had Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. The Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne.
"This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, prompting me to explore Chalice Dungeons off stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets for replenishment," Let Me Solo Her continued (thanks, GamesRadar+). "Without a doubt, he's the hardest boss in Bloodborne for me."
