Star Wars Celebration not only announced Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will premiere on October 29, 2025, but also revealed plans for a new spin-off series continuing The Ninth Jedi storyline from Volume 1.
Volume 3 will showcase nine animated shorts from acclaimed Japanese studios including Studio Trigger (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema Citrus, Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Studio Q.

The announcement confirmed three episodes will continue storylines from previous seasons: Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema Citrus's The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi.
Series creator Kenji Kamiyama appeared at Star Wars Celebration to reveal Kara's story will expand into a new spin-off series, allowing deeper exploration of the Star Wars: Visions universe.
While details remain scarce, we know Kara will reappear alongside Juro in Volume 3's 'Child of Hope' episode.
