DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn and set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute trailer provides fans with a deeper glimpse into the film's extensive ensemble of superheroes and supervillains.

The trailer showcases Nathan Fillion in action as Guy Gardner, also known as Green Lantern, effortlessly dispatching foes. Isabela Merced takes on the role of Hawkgirl, and we get our clearest look yet at María Gabriela de Faría's portrayal of The Engineer. Notably, The Engineer is seen destroying the robots, including Kelex, that care for Superman in the Fortress of Solitude—a scene that was hinted at in a previous trailer where a distressed Superman was shown cradling a damaged Kelex.

The trailer also features Krypto the Superdog in a thrilling moment, executing a flying punch at The Engineer during a battle, demonstrating his readiness to confront villains. Additionally, we see Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman in action. More footage of Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho is also included. The Hammer of Boravia, a brand new character created by Gunn and believed to be Ultraman in disguise, makes an appearance as anticipated from yesterday's teaser.

Central to the narrative is the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane. The trailer features Lois interviewing Clark in his Superman persona, which leads to a heated argument about the ethics of Superman's intervention in a foreign war. Clark defends his actions by stating, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" The Hammer of Boravia retaliates by attacking Downtown Metropolis in response to Superman's involvement in their country.

In a poignant scene, a member of the public assists Superman out of a hole in the ground, a stark contrast to other scenes where the public is seen screaming at him and throwing objects, highlighting the complex dynamics between Superman and the citizens he aims to protect.
