Author: Adam May 23,2025

Haven't finished collecting all the cards from the recent Celestial Guardians Expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket, which launched just three weeks ago? Well, brace yourself because another exciting expansion is on its way. Introducing the Extradimensional Crisis, set to release on May 29, featuring the quirky Ultra Beasts and the mysterious chimera Pokémon, Type: Null.

The Extradimensional Crisis expansion introduces the Ultra Beasts, those bizarre, alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokémon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards in this set include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Additionally, you'll find more Alola Pokémon to complement those introduced in Celestial Guardians. The inclusion of Type: Null hints at the potential arrival of its evolution, Silvally, in future updates.

With every new expansion comes fresh cosmetics, and Extradimensional Crisis is no exception. Starting May 29, you can snag an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover using shop tickets. Additionally, from June 11, a floral display board will be available for purchase with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event.

Since its launch last year, Pokémon TCG Pocket has been consistently releasing expansions at a brisk pace. While Extradimensional Crisis is classified as a minor booster expansion, featuring just one booster pack type, it follows closely on the heels of previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, joining the ranks of Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain available in-game, but stay tuned for any future updates on their availability.
