Amazon has countered Walmart's deals during Prime Day, offering the standard black Xbox controller for $49.99 - now the second-best deal after the Shock Blue model.

The Elite Series 2 Core Wireless controller currently sells for $124.90 (down from $139.99), while the premium Elite Series 2 and new DOOM: The Dark Ages edition are discounted to $155.99 and $74 respectively.

Shoppers can also save $10 on the Pulse Cipher model. The Elite Series 2 Core features customizable buttons, adjustable triggers, and three preset configurations, while the full Elite Series 2 package includes additional accessories and a charging case.
