Renju - Racing Board Game

Rules

Renju is played by two opponents - one using X pieces and the other using O pieces. The game is played on a gridded board.

Players alternate turns placing their pieces. To win, a player must be the first to create an unbroken line of five of their pieces - whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Gameplay

• The board consists of intersecting lines forming a grid (typically 15×15)
• Black (X) traditionally moves first
• Pieces are placed on intersections, not in squares
• Once placed, pieces cannot be moved or removed

Winning Conditions

The player who completes any straight line of five consecutive pieces wins immediately. Neither overlines (more than five in a row) nor special restrictions apply in this basic version.
