Arknights: Endfield PC Beta Starts Today, Mobile Test Details Awaited

Author: Benjamin May 01,2025

If you're an avid fan of Arknights, you're likely eagerly following the progress of Arknights: Endfield, the eagerly anticipated sequel that's starting to take form. Excitingly, the first major beta test for Arknights: Endfield kicks off today, but it's exclusively for PC users. While this might be a bit of a letdown for mobile enthusiasts, it's a golden opportunity for desktop players to dive into the new content, characters, and more.

Developer Gryphline seems to be extending a friendly gesture towards the PC community with this early access opportunity. Arknights: Endfield is set in the same universe as the original Arknights but ventures into the 3D RPG genre, following in the footsteps of successful games like MiHoYo's Genshin Impact.

As the beta test progresses, we can expect to hear detailed feedback from dedicated fans, offering insights into new characters, dodge mechanics, combos, and other features introduced in this test. Additionally, players will get to explore new maps, puzzles, and dungeon content, along with various enhancements.

To the end

Now, I must admit I was slightly exaggerating earlier about the disappointment for mobile fans. However, it's intriguing to see PC being prioritized over mobile, especially considering most fans are familiar with Arknights from its mobile version. This move is somewhat reminiscent of NetEase's approach with Once Human, where developers seem to be cautiously extending an olive branch to the PC gaming community.

While I don't anticipate a similar delay in the mobile release of Endfield as seen with Once Human, it's definitely something to keep an eye on as more details about this sequel emerge.
