Valve continues to keep the Deadlock community engaged with their regular updates, and the latest one, though small, brings significant changes to four heroes.
Calico experienced a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability now has a cooldown increased by ten seconds, and 20% of its speed has been shifted to T2. Additionally, the damage output from T2 Leaping Slash has been reduced.
Sinclair saw some enhancements with updated sounds and animations, and his Rabbit Hex ability has been transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill. Meanwhile, both Holliday and Wraith faced nerfs in this update.
The update didn't just affect heroes; several items were tweaked as well. Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus. Similarly, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot have lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively.

This marks the fifth Deadlock update of 2025 and the first for February. Valve has shifted their strategy regarding game development, moving away from a fixed patch schedule. Instead, updates are now released based on necessity, and today's release exemplifies this new approach.
