Pine Hearts Mobile Release Announced by A Little to the Left Studio

Pine Hearts is now available on mobile devices. Developed by Hyper Luminal Games and originally released for PC and Nintendo Switch, the mobile version is published by Secret Mode, the team behind A Little to the Left. It's a heartwarming hiking adventure inspired by the landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

Nostalgic journeys, overcoming loss, and lending a helping hand…

The game offers a cozy and introspective experience. You play as Tyke, who returns to the Pine Hearts Caravan Park, a place filled with childhood holiday memories. The setting, inspired by the Cairngorms, invites you to wander through forest trails, explore hidden caves, and investigate ancient castle ruins.

You can also splash through rocky pools and play along the shore. Tyke's journey involves processing the loss of his father while attempting to summit a mountain his father never conquered.

The quests are charmingly lighthearted and quirky. You might find yourself judging a vegetable contest, conducting a brass band, rescuing lost bees, or assisting a friendly ghost. Other activities include rebuilding a whale-watching vessel, setting up camera traps to find a mysterious creature, and digging up Viking artifacts.

Throughout your adventure, you can pet dogs, gently pat crabs, and enjoy quiet moments of reflection, like sitting on a bench to admire the view. New abilities gradually unlock previously inaccessible areas and create shortcuts across the map.

The story gently unfolds through five memory clips—brief but poignant moments from Tyke's personal journey. To get a feel for the game, take a look at the beautiful world of Pine Hearts in the video below.

Living up to its name, Pine Hearts embodies warmth and compassion

To celebrate the launch, Secret Mode is running a giveaway for Pine Hearts merchandise. One lucky winner will receive a prize pack including a T-shirt, a beanie, and a mug. Full entry details are available on the official Pine Hearts X (formerly Twitter) account.

The game includes a comprehensive suite of accessibility features. Options include simplified controls, toggleable visual effects, scalable fonts, high-contrast and color-blocking modes, and complete input remapping.

A free trial lets you explore Reflection Point and the Campsite for approximately 20-25 minutes. The full game can be unlocked with a one-time purchase of $4.99. You can find it now on the Google Play Store.
