Marvel's Fantastic Four Trailer: First Look at MCU's First Family

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, offering a captivating glimpse into what promises to be a monumental superhero film in 2025. The trailer introduces Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing, alongside the formidable supervillain, Galactus. Beginning with a dinner scene at the Baxter Building, the trailer showcases the film's vibrant 1960s retro-futuristic aesthetic and hints at an epic battle unfolding in New York City.

We witness Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, alongside the team's trusty robotic companion, H.E.R.B.I.E., both seemingly engrossed in culinary pursuits. Elsewhere, Sue Storm briefly displays her powers as the Invisible Woman, and Johnny Storm takes flight as the Human Torch. While Reed Richards' stretchy abilities as Mr. Fantastic are yet to be fully showcased in this trailer, the anticipation is palpable.

Intriguingly, the trailer also features a fleeting appearance of John Malkovich, rumored to be portraying Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost.

The official trailer launch took place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach interacted with enthusiastic fans.

Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, this highly anticipated MCU installment stars Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer. The impressive ensemble cast also includes Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, with Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige serving as producer.

And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Speculation is rife among fans regarding a potential appearance by Robert Downey, Jr. as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, either within The Fantastic Four: First Steps itself or perhaps in a teasing cameo. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's presence in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
