Spawn joins Mortal Kombat Mobile

Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn!

This McFarlane creation, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance, is now available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. He'll soon be joined by MK1 Kenshi, and this update includes three new Friendship finishers and a Brutality.

Spawn, aka Al Simmons, is a murdered soldier who struck a deal with the Devil to return to Earth. His supernatural abilities make him a formidable force, potentially even an apocalyptic one. Created by Todd McFarlane in the 90s (though conceived earlier), Spawn is a flagship character of Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest in the Mortal Kombat universe, having previously appeared in Mortal Kombat 11.

A Hellspawn-Sized Update

Alongside the new Spawn and a fresh MK1 Kenshi, this update delivers new Hellspawn dungeons to conquer. While some may scoff at a mobile version, many Spawn and Mortal Kombat fans will undoubtedly rejoice at his return.

A Bittersweet Note: Just before publishing, news broke of the alleged dismissal of the entire NetherRealm Studios mobile team. Spawn's addition might sadly be their final contribution.
