World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions. Players can earn a wealth of rewards, including numerous Timewarped Badges, an experience boost, and a coveted new mount.

This extended event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. The core mechanic remains the same: completing Timewalking dungeons earns a stackable buff, culminating in "Mastery of Timeways"—a significant experience bonus. However, this time around, the rewards are even more substantial.

The seven-week journey through WoW's history unfolds as follows:

Rewards and Achievements:

Completing the Mastery of Timeways buff for five out of the seven weeks unlocks the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement, rewarding players with the charming Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously exclusive to the initial Turbulent Timeways event, is making a return. Furthermore, the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest now grants Heroic gear throughout the event's duration.

Looking Ahead:

The conclusion of the Turbulent Timeways event on February 24th offers a strong hint about upcoming WoW content. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a likely launch date for Patch 11.1, "Undermined," ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7.
