How to Play

Town of Salem accommodates 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to different alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals. As a member of the Town—the good guys—your mission is to unearth the Mafia and other villains before they eliminate you. The challenge lies in the fact that the identities of Town members and villains remain hidden.

If you find yourself in an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, your objective is to covertly dispatch Town members under the cover of night while evading capture.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, Town of Salem guarantees a fresh experience with each playthrough. Before the game begins, players enter a lobby where the host can customize the roles available for the game. Once the game starts, players are randomly assigned roles from the selected list and receive an in-game role card detailing their abilities and alignments. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is where most roles execute their abilities. Serial Killers silently take out their targets, Doctors attempt to save those under attack, and Sheriffs investigate for any suspicious behavior.

Day

During the day phase, Town members convene to deliberate on potential evil roles among them. When the voting phase initiates, a majority vote from the Town can send someone to trial.

Defense

The defense phase is your chance to plead your case to the Town. A compelling defense can save you from the gallows; a weak one might lead to your demise.

Judgement

In the judgement phase, the Town votes on the defendant's fate. Players can cast votes of guilty, innocent, or abstain. A higher count of guilty votes over innocent votes results in the defendant's execution by hanging.

Customization

Enhance your gameplay with personalization options. Choose your map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name that other players will see during the game.

Achievements

With over 200 unique achievements, you can earn various in-game items as you progress, adding another layer of excitement and rewards to your Town of Salem experience.
