Simulation of Golf Game with Cards
Welcome to our unique simulation of Golf, played with a standard 52-card deck plus 2 Jokers. Each player begins with 6 cards dealt face down, while the remaining cards form a draw pile with the top card flipped to initiate the discard pile beside it.
Objective
The goal is to minimize the total value of your cards by strategically swapping them for lower-value cards or pairing them in columns with cards of the same rank. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game emerges victorious. A high score results in a loss, and the game spans 9 rounds, mirroring the concept of golf holes.
Gameplay
Starting from the dealer's left, players take turns drawing a single card from either the stock or the discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped with one of the player's 6 cards or discarded. If a card is swapped with a face-down card, it is turned face up. Discarding a card ends the player's turn. The round concludes once all of a player's cards are face-up.
Scoring
- Joker: -2 points
- Ace: 1 point
- King: 0 points
- Jack and Queen: 10 points each
- Other cards: Face value
The game consists of nine "holes" (rounds), and the player with the lowest cumulative score at the end is declared the winner.
