Players familiar with the Remembrance path from its role in the Simulated Universe will find a fresh twist as it debuts as a playable character path in Honkai: Star Rail's version 3.0 update. While previously focused on freezing enemies and battlefield control, Remembrance now introduces a new playstyle centered around summoning units—akin to Jing Yuan’s Lightning Lord. These summons provide various utilities, ranging from damage dealing to active support.
The Ice Remembrance Trailblazer takes this concept further by acting primarily as a support unit through their summoned companion, Mem. This unique ability allows allies to deal True DMG while also advancing their action turns and increasing Crit Rate and Crit DMG. As a result, the Remembrance Trailblazer becomes an essential team utility provider. However, due to the novelty of this path, compatible light cones that fully complement its mechanics are limited at launch.
It is advisable to avoid equipping damage-focused light cones such as *Sweat Now, Cry Less* (4-star), *Geniuses' Greetings* (4-star), or *Time Woven Into Gold* (Aglaea’s signature 5-star) since they do not align well with the Trailblazer’s supportive function. Below are the most suitable light cone options currently available for maximizing the effectiveness of the Remembrance Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail.
Victory In a Blink – The Best Support Light Cone for Remembrance Trailblazer
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
847 | 476 | 397 |
S5 Passive: Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 24%. When the wearer’s memosprite uses an ability on any ally target, increases all ally targets’ DMG dealt by 16%, lasting for 3 turns.
One of the best choices for the Remembrance Trailblazer is *Victory In a Blink*, a F2P-friendly light cone obtainable via the Light Cone Manifest Store in the Forgotten Hall. This makes it highly accessible, allowing players to acquire and even max out its superimposition if they have sufficient resources.
While the Crit DMG increase may not be crucial for a support-oriented unit like the Trailblazer, the passive effect shines by boosting all allies’ DMG output for three turns after the memosprite interacts with them. This synergizes perfectly with Mem’s ability to empower allies, making *Victory In a Blink* a top-tier option for supporting teammates effectively.
Shadowburn – Best 3-Star LC for Remembrance Trailblazer
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
847 | 318 | 265 |
S5 Passive: When the wearer summons the memosprite for the first time in battle, recovers 1 Skill Point and regenerates 20 Energy for this unit.
*Shadowburn* is a solid alternative for players who haven't unlocked higher-tier light cones yet. Its primary benefit comes from recovering a Skill Point and generating 20 Energy upon Mem’s initial summon, which can help accelerate early combat efficiency. This is especially useful in short battles or content requiring quick turn completion.
However, its effectiveness diminishes in longer encounters since the bonus only triggers once per battle—at the point of summoning Mem. For extended fights, other options may offer more consistent performance.
Reminiscence – Best 3-Star LC for Personal DMG Boost
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
635 | 423 | 265 |
S5 Passive: When memosprite's turn starts, the wearer and the memosprite each gain 1 stack of "Commemoration." Each stack increases DMG dealt by 12%, stacking up to 4 times. Stacks are removed when the memosprite disappears.
For players aiming to enhance the personal damage of the Trailblazer and Mem, *Reminiscence* serves as a decent 3-star option. Although it doesn’t directly boost support functions, its passive provides a notable increase in DMG output for both the Trailblazer and Mem once stacks are accumulated.
However, reaching maximum stacks requires up to four turns, as both the Trailblazer and Mem generate separate stacks. Because of this gradual scaling, *Reminiscence* performs better in prolonged engagements rather than quick clears. It remains a viable choice for those without access to higher-tier alternatives.
