What are Arcanas?

Arcanas are modifiers in Vampire Survivors. Unlocking the Randomazzo unlocks the Arcana system and the first Arcana, Sarabande of Healing. Players choose their Arcana cards on the stage selection screen before starting a run. Each Arcana offers unique functionality, but must be unlocked first.

Here are a few examples:

• Boogaloo of Illusions: Over 10 seconds, the character's area expands from -25% to +25%, gaining +1% area per level. Unlocked by reaching level 50 with Concetta.

• Heart of Fire: Weapon projectiles explode on impact, creating light bursts. Explosions also occur when the character takes damage. Unlocked by reaching level 50 with Arca.

• Silent Old Sanctuary: Provides +3 Reroll, Skip, and Banish. Grants +20% Might and -8% Cooldown for each empty weapon slot. Unlocked by reaching minute 31 in the Dairy Plant.

• Blood Astronomia: Weapons add damage zones affected by Amount and Magnet. Enemies within Magnet range take damage based on Amount. Unlocked by reaching level 50 with Poe.
